Christmas Wish List

Christmas time is my favorite time of year. I love decorating my home, picking out the perfect gifts for family and friends, baking cookies and hanging out with my family. It also gives me the perfect excuse to make up my very own wish list! Below are some of my top picks for Christmas.

Copic Markers are the best! When I first heard about these and saw the prices - I thought "NO WAY!" However, I had the chance to try them and they are worth EVERY CENT! Too bad I don't have cents to spend on these wonderful markers. I am still absolutely amazed at the beautiful colors, blending and other cool techniques you can do with these. Say it to yourself now... "I - must - go - get - Copic - Markers."

Basic Grey- June Bug Collection Pack

Stamping Bella has the most adorable stamps! I couldn't find just one or two that I wanted. I'll just post the link to their blog... I want them all!!! http://stampingbella.com/blog/ I hope you have as much fun looking at all of the fun stamps as I did!

Tim Holtz Distressed Embossing Powder. If you have not been on Tim Holtz's blog - you are truly missing out! Right now he is doing the "12 Tags of Christmas" and I am green with envy with everyone! Make sure to check it out.

Tim Holtz Sanding Grip. Since I have been working on the "distressed" look lately, I think this little guy would be great! Especially since I hate the feel of sandpaper when I am holding it.

I have a few of the mini masks and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Apparently, Heidi Swapp has some as well. I would love to collect all of them plus apparently he has sheets of clear masking "paper" so that you can stamp your own image on to them! I LOVE IT!

Tim Holtz Grungeboard is SO MUCH FUN! It is nearly indestructable yet has the perfect distressed look when altering it. I only have the plain sheets of grungboard but I would LOVE to have the seasonal and some letters as well!

Ahhhh... the Making Memories Slice machine! This handy little tool just seems to good to be true. With a pretty hefty price tag though - it doesn't look like I will be finding out anytime soon!

A look back in time...

Ilove scrapbooking! So much in fact that I often time will spend days making pages... even though I don't have pictures for them. I love trying lots of different techniques. At first though, I stayed on the straight and narrow. These are some of my first pages done as a scrapbooker! I love to pull these out from time to time just to remind myself how far I have gotten over the past couple of years!

StampScrapArt Tour 2009

I know I said I was going to spend my weekend scrapbooking and making ATC's but the StampScrapArt Tour was going on only 25 minutes from my house! How could I not go? So, after debating most of the morning, I packed up my stuff and headed out of the house. I had so much fun there and really enjoyed watching the different demonstrators do their craft! I thought you'd like to see some eye candy of some of the things I bought. Now, pennyless and surrounded by new goodies, I can start my craft weekend!

I thought these glitters were beautiful! I also purchased a glue pen so I can highlight very specific areas to glitter! I can't wait to try these out. They are so vibrant and will surely add great detail to some of my creations. There were over 100 colors - it was so difficult to just pick a few. I had to keep putting them back.

I looked and looked for some Artist Trading Card stamps. I haven't found any at the local scrapbook and stamping stores. So I figured that I would be able to find some at the Stamp show. Would you believe that these are the ONLY 2 that were there? I bought them both because they seem to be difficult to find.

My boyfriend is a huge coffee drinker. As soon as I saw these I thought of him so I had to pick up these adorable stamps.

I thought this was too funny! There was an adorable card with these stamps. I hope to be able to do something half as cute with them!

My favorite vendor had TONS Tim Holtz stamps, inks and embellishments. There was a FANTASTIC demonstrator who did the most amazing things! I could have sat down and watched her all day! I bought these Distressed Inks because there were colors I had never seen at the local store. They are so much fun to use and I can't wait to play around with them!

Some scrapbookers and stampers have a very distinct style. I, however, like to dabble in all kind! Lately, I have been interested in the very odd and different styles Jim Holtz does. These were a few that caught my eye- I would have loved to get much, much more but, as you know, stamps are pretty expensive!

This stamp template is GREAT! It makes a box about the size of a playing card deck box. But, I'm sure you guessed that I won't be using it for playing cards!

Chalk is something I always see used. But, surprisingly, I have never bought. After watching a demonstrator use these bright chalks, I had to buy them. I can't wait to try them!

My Love of ATC's

I love making Artist Trading Cards. They are so much fun! If you are unfamiliar with these miniture works of art visit www.squidoo.com/atcs to get information. You can also go to one of my favorite websites http://www.flickr.com/ to see some great eye candy! Once you get the hang of making them... trade them! I recieve ATC's from all over the world through various swap sites. My favorite by far is http://www.swap-bot.com/

Here is my first batch of ATC's for the day!

Anyway- this weekend is a dedicated craft weekend for me! Keep your eyes peeled for some of my projects throughout the weekend!
