Girl's Best Friend ATC & Re-decorating Craft Room

I spent most of my weekend researching through various websites- different scrapbook and craft room themes. I'm pretty sure that I am going in a whole different angle with my room. The pink, black and white room is not working for me. Over the next couple of weeks I am going to be getting things together for my new room theme. Any ideas are appreciated and some of you bloggers have excellent references!

After digging through a new pad of paper, printing off new images for collages and finding some adorable embellishments, I decided to do another cute Pin-Up Girl ATC I love the vintage look with bright colors.

Busy Day...

While preparing my craft room for my "Weekend of Crafts", I ran across some quilting squares that I had hidden in the back of my supply closet. I thought they were such pretty, vibrant colors that I just had to use them on my first ATC project of the day!

I love black red & white especially with "pin - up" themes. As you can see below with my previous post and my new ATC's.

I love this Ladyfair Swimwear ATC. I really like this picture so I had it stashed away while I tried to find a good background paper to put with it. Well- as it would happen, I was in my favorite craft store and saw the new DCWV Paper Pack called THE GREEN STACK- 70% Recycled Paper. It has a realy cool retro vibe to it.

And my most recent finished project for the day is my beautiful Giesha... doesn't she look peaceful (and maybe a little sad)?

Hopefully if your like me and need a little inspiration every once in awhile to keep yourself going then these ATC's will help you out!

Pin Up Girl ATC's

One of my favorite ATC themes to make is Pin-Up Girl & Vintage Ads. Below are a couple of older ones that I have made and already traded out. Using the red, black and white embellishments and paper gives it a fun feel, don't you think?

My Love of ATC's

I love making Artist Trading Cards. They are so much fun! If you are unfamiliar with these miniture works of art visit www.squidoo.com/atcs to get information. You can also go to one of my favorite websites http://www.flickr.com/ to see some great eye candy! Once you get the hang of making them... trade them! I recieve ATC's from all over the world through various swap sites. My favorite by far is http://www.swap-bot.com/

Here is my first batch of ATC's for the day!

Anyway- this weekend is a dedicated craft weekend for me! Keep your eyes peeled for some of my projects throughout the weekend!

First You Must Start At The Beginning...

I am an avid lover of all things girly! I love clothes, makeup & other beauty products. My favorite thing to do it paper crafts- mostly scrapbooking!

I just moved into a new house and am one of the lucky ones who have their very own craft room! It is my place to go and do everything I love... scrabook, sew, organize, & watch LMN.
Before I moved in I decided that I was going to make this room my "fantasy room". I wanted to find the perfect fun color combo. I ultimately decided on Pink, Black & White. The other requirement I had for myself is that I wanted to display my supplies in an organized fashion. (We all have times we forgot we bought something and then we end up with duplicates!)

I have worked on this room for a few months now and feel as if:
1) I can not possibly add anything additional to the room.
2) Have no place for my sewing machine & dress form.
3) Still does not have the "parisian/couture" theme I am looking for.
4) Lastly, it needs another accent color but I can't figure out what!?

I am desperately seeking help! I have seen so many gorgeous craft rooms but I am trying to hard to work with what I've got!

My goal is to have my craft room 100% completed by the end of January. Take a peek around and please give me your thoughts and ideas!
