ATC Eye Candy

Here are some of my favorite ATC's. I don't think any of these have been posted before... Enjoy!

I was watching "Chicago" when this ATC was born.
I loved the texture of this ATC! I used Distress Inks for the background, stamped an image, added a velum piece and then put modge podge on it.

I LOVE this ATC. It is one of my favorites... mainly because it was an accident. I used gesso, distressed the background and then wiped the gesso to make it show up. I was so pleased with the outcome!

I love using patterned paper and making a distressed look to it.

I am alway curious to know how stampers organize their stamps. Especially all the mounted ones! They are so clunky and difficult to shift through! I am currently re-organizing my craft room. I have re-arranged my furniture and am s-l-o-w-l-y putting my stuff away. I will gladly put up new pictures as soon as the entire room is finished. Here is a sneak preview of my "stamping storage"... Should I get any other stamps in the future, I am going to have to find a new way to store them though!

In the top drawer is all of my ink pads.

So far the second drawer is used for my foam stamp sets, $1.00 stamps (That I am addicted to!) and some acylic sets that I bought on sale and have yet to use or even open.

The last drawer has all of my stamps stacked on top of one another. There are 5 perfectly organized rows in this drawer. I know it is bad to stack stamps on top of one another since it can warp the image but I really don't have a choice. Hopefully, I will come up with another idea soon!

I spent an entire day stamping all of my images onto white cardstock. This way, I can look through my book to find the perfect stamp instead of digging through my drawer.

TADA! Here it is! My finished stamp organizer!

I have also changed the way my embellisments and stickers are stored. Instead of out in the open I have stored them in these lovely boxes I purchased from Jo Ann Fabrics.

Lastly, I am in the process of going through my paper. It is so much fun to find sheets of paper I forgot I purchased.
I am hoping my the end of next weekend my scraproom will be completely finished. I will post pics soon!

Christmas Wish List

Christmas time is my favorite time of year. I love decorating my home, picking out the perfect gifts for family and friends, baking cookies and hanging out with my family. It also gives me the perfect excuse to make up my very own wish list! Below are some of my top picks for Christmas.

Copic Markers are the best! When I first heard about these and saw the prices - I thought "NO WAY!" However, I had the chance to try them and they are worth EVERY CENT! Too bad I don't have cents to spend on these wonderful markers. I am still absolutely amazed at the beautiful colors, blending and other cool techniques you can do with these. Say it to yourself now... "I - must - go - get - Copic - Markers."

Stamping Bella has the most adorable stamps! I couldn't find just one or two that I wanted. I'll just post the link to their blog... I want them all!!! http://stampingbella.com/blog/ I hope you have as much fun looking at all of the fun stamps as I did!

Tim Holtz Distressed Embossing Powder. If you have not been on Tim Holtz's blog - you are truly missing out! Right now he is doing the "12 Tags of Christmas" and I am green with envy with everyone! Make sure to check it out.

Tim Holtz Sanding Grip. Since I have been working on the "distressed" look lately, I think this little guy would be great! Especially since I hate the feel of sandpaper when I am holding it.

I have a few of the mini masks and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Apparently, Heidi Swapp has some as well. I would love to collect all of them plus apparently he has sheets of clear masking "paper" so that you can stamp your own image on to them! I LOVE IT!

Tim Holtz Grungeboard is SO MUCH FUN! It is nearly indestructable yet has the perfect distressed look when altering it. I only have the plain sheets of grungboard but I would LOVE to have the seasonal and some letters as well!

Ahhhh... the Making Memories Slice machine! This handy little tool just seems to good to be true. With a pretty hefty price tag though - it doesn't look like I will be finding out anytime soon!

A look back in time...

Ilove scrapbooking! So much in fact that I often time will spend days making pages... even though I don't have pictures for them. I love trying lots of different techniques. At first though, I stayed on the straight and narrow. These are some of my first pages done as a scrapbooker! I love to pull these out from time to time just to remind myself how far I have gotten over the past couple of years!

My Newest Creations

Here are my latest creations for the day!

You can't see the dtail on this gorgeous ATC but the glitter is amazing. I bought it at Sparkle N Sprinkle while at a Stamp Show. (I will need to dig up their website). They had colors I have never seen before and had amazing embossing powders also!

Distress Crackle Paints by Tim Holtz are so much fun! This was my first attempt at ever stamping over them. It gives it such a unique texture.

This picture is blurry but I fell in love with the stamp so I had to try it out. This is also my first attempt at trying the "blending" technique with the fabulous Distress inks.
